We’re spending our first week in Florida at Grayton Beach State Park. It rained for the first three days, but cleared up mid-week just in time for our family to arrive. We absolutely love it here. The campground is lovely and the beach is incredible. I’ll be back next week to share more details about where we are and what we’ve been up to.
For now, in the the spirit of Thanksgiving, here are a few photos of the things that I am most thankful for…
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

We used to live in Pensacola and Grayton Beach was our favorite nearby campground. Hope you enjoy your time in Florida!
So many people recommend that we stay here. I can see why it was your favorite!
Sweet! Looks like a lovely celebration with family. We were in the Keys last year for Thanksgiving — it felt wonderfully decadent to be walking the beach and swimming in late November. So glad you’re enjoying Florida — Grayton Beach is one of our favorites. I’m always happy when people discover the good places in my (previous) home state.
It does feel like a nice treat to be on the beach for Thanksgiving, instead of driving through a snowstorm to our relatives house. And especially nice to have family with us!
Enjoy Grayton Beach, we totally loved our time there last year. And please pass on hugs to the Nealys and RVAGoGo folks – hope you’re having an amazing time with them!
We will pass on you hello. It’s a fun bunch to hang out with!
