Day 2- Last Day in Vermont

What an amazing last day in Vermont!!!! Thanks Penny, Don & Boots for letting us camp in your driveway.

The first order of the day was the closing for our house-Yay! We are officially no longer owners of a non-moving home. Everything went smoothly and the new owners seemed very happy with their new house. I hope they love it as much as we did. After taking care of business & a few errands we moved the airstream just a few miles down the road to Penny and Don’s. The rest of the day was spent relaxing in the airstream…

And consuming the delicious strawberries that Penny and I picked. Strawberry shortcake and strawberry daiquiris- yum!

We ended the night hanging out in the airstream with everyone. 6 people and 1 dog fit quite nicely. Of course, we would have been a little more comfy if Phineas had given up his spot on the couch. Do you think he was enjoying his girl time?

Today we take our last drive through Vermont as we head over to western New York for the next week and then continue west from there. We certainly will miss this beautiful state and all the wonderful people in it. No time to be sad though because we have a whole wide world of adventure ahead of us! See ya later VT…
